Tell us about you:

I have worked in various industries over the years, mainly in IT but also dabbled with various other roles. I’ve always had an affinity for problem solving and that translates well to this sort of role.

When not poking computers with a stick, I spend a lot of my spare time on music, I play guitar mainly but have dabbled in drums & bass too. Playing in local bands, either doing cover songs or original material is probably my greatest passion in life. There’s no greater buzz than being able to emotionally move people with music.

How long have you worked at HDUK:

I have worked at HDUK since March 2018.

What do you enjoy most about working here:

To co-opt a cheesy film line… The job is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get next with regard to the calls & emails. With the large variety of customers and software that we support, the job is different every day and never boring.

We’ve got a great mix of people here too, from various backgrounds and the office is a vibrant and enjoyable place to be.

What is the biggest challenge in your role:

With the continual evolution of software and our ever expanding variety of clients, we’re always encountering software and situations that are new for the company. The job is ever evolving and there’s something different to learn every week.

The platform is far more secure than having all your data hosted at your office and all the end-user needs to worry about is logging on to the server and working, safely and securely.
